{ideas needed!}

I loove the Double Serge Cotton Pencil Skirt.   In Bronzed Twig and in Aqua.  Can't choose.  The perfect little bow is what sold me on it.  My daughter thinks this Twig color is blech but hubby claims to like it.  I was thinking that it would be a good neutral.  Now I have to find tops that work with this skirt tucked in (because of the bow).
~~What types of tops & cardigans would you put with the Bronzed Twig skirt and in what colors?
~~What color tops/cardigans would you put with the Aqua skirt?

On another note, I was super excited to see these heels pop-back onto the sale section in my size!  The bad news is that I have a very hard time finding comfortable heels and sometimes have to purchase a half-size up just to be able to wear them.  Unfortunately this would have been one of those times.  Just like the Juliets and most other J Crew shoes, the toe box is a little snug and uncomfortable on me.  Yes, I know--everyone loves the Juliets, but not my little piggies.  BOO-HOO!!!  I have to return these to the store!    There are no more, of course.  Anybody have these beauties?  I think they probably run true to size--I just have very sensitive feet and need wiggle room.  sniff...

Love those shoes! I would pair it with red but that is just me! Love the bow!

The skirt is super cute. Seems to me the twig color would go with so many different things.

I just love that skirt! I have one very similar in black by Milly. The bow is so very cute!

I love the skirt and would do it in the Twig as a neutral.

Darling skirt! Love the bow. I would stick to the basics with a color like that. I would have to go cream (not white) and black tops. You can dress it up with color by using accessories. The shoes are adorable!

I would wear orange, rose, pink, or cream with the twig--and in the fall black too!

with the aqua--black, or brown on top with corresponding shoes!
Congrats on the bow skirt--an amazing piece!

so pretty! I think you can wear any color with bronzed twig, I think red would look very nice! With the aqua I would try the putty color or even black to let the blue really stand out! I also really like aqua with red- it sounds really kind of strange but it actually looks pretty good together if they both have warm or cool undertones.

I love the aqua, but think the twig is more versatile. I agree w/Jemma Ruby about red & aqaua. It's so fresh, but finding the perfect pairing is not easy in my experience.

You might have considered getting the shoes professionally stretched if the toe wasn't *too* snug. Sometimes that is better than going up 1/2 size but you know you foot better than I do.

I have this skirt in aqua and love it! I wear it for work in a conservative office, so I always need some kind of sleeve!

Short-sleeve white broadcloth shirt
Short-sleeve pewter striped broadcloth shirt
jackie cardigans and perfect fit tees (black, navy, pewter, champange)

I love it with what you have on. Those pearls dazzle me every time i seem them. You look beautiful. Oh and have you tried to widen the shoes. On a bigger clost's blog, she mentioned an item that she bought to widen her shoes. Maybe you should keep your shoes until she posts about her experience.

I like the skirt, you could pair a lot of colors with it for sure. Sorry about the shoes though, they were cute.

Love these shoes. Who knows they might pop up again in late summer. You just never know with J Crew.

I have this skirt and also have had trouble deciding what to wear with it. When I tried it on at the store, I actually had on the amethyst color and actually really liked the combination. Good luck!

I'm sorry the shoes didn't work out. I really understand the feeling! The skirt looks great the way you've styled it. My style is so simple I would end up pairing the aqua skirt with white blouses.
