I am very happy about this mirror that I found today! A week or so ago it caught my eye as I was driving by and saw it in the shop's window display. I went back today and luckily it was still there--the only one they had. It is made of wood (...so tired of finding decorative pieces only to find out they are made of "resin") in Ecuador. Each sunray is nailed on by hand in the back where you can see the beautiful grain of the wood. I have wanted a sunburst mirror for quite some time. Now,....where should I put it?

What a beautiful mirror! I'm obsessed with sunburst mirrors and have amassed quite a collection. Yours would look great pretty much anywhere, but would be particularly nice hanging over a buffet or chest in the dining room or above a sofa in your living room.
Ms. P, that is SOOOO gorgeous. I wish I had found something equally as lovely here in the Pacific NW. No such luck. Lots of RESIN pieces.

That's a real find. I love that's it wood, there's so much detail, and it's simply beautiful. Over a sofa, bed, or fireplace would be great!

I love sunburst mirrors also, and this one sounds and looks amazing. Like you said, it makes a difference when it is made out of real wood!

I might place it over the sofa in the living room. I tried over my bed, but it is too big--BOO!! AND I am a little scared to hang something heavy right over my head--what if it falls? Haha!
