Love Cary Grant Movies....when I will little I loved the Bachelor and the bobby soxer. Hope you have a great day! = )
So true. Everything about this movie is iconic. And, great thought about Bets Draper. I had not thought of that but I agree.MLmlanesepic.blogspot.com
I love that movie! She is fantastic- speeding along those curvy roads!xoxo
I definitely agree with your comparison of Grace Kelly with Betty Draper.
One of my favorite films of all time!I think you're right about Betty Draper. She also has a little bit of a modern twist in her facial expressions that reminds me of Molly Ringwald (especially when she rolls her eyes). Am I crazy?
I LOVE this movie!!! Cary grant was SO debonaire!
I love this movie! Grace Kelly was so beautiful and elegant. "High Society" is also wonderful and so much fun with Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra!
I was just going to say what Kathy said: GK is absolutely adorable in "High Society" as well! A true American princess.
I agree with Queen Bee. I've never seen it, but I'm now adding it to my must-watch list!
One of my all time favorites! Grace Kelly...sigh. Love love love it. Love love love her. Yes, she must be the inspiration for Betty Draper, I hadn't thought about that before. This is one that I really should just buy one of these days.
i JUST saw this movie a couple weeks ago - it was one of those movie in the park things. sooo cool.
Grace Kelly is one classic beauty. I love old movies. Do you ever watch the Turner Classic Movie channel? I watch that and TV Land a lot. I think I'm the only person under 70 who still watches Poirot and Murder, She Wrote, LOL!
I forgot to tell you that I've moved!http://wellladida.blogspot.com/xoxo
This is amazing Miss Petunia, would you believe we never once made this connection...?! How many ways can we say "Dopey Princess"?!?And this is a fave too, Cary Grant is simply TDF. Dreamy, as they used to say. Sigh.:)
Oh I LOVE this movie!! ::sigh::
I just checked this out from my library! I have never seen it, and my fiance is out of town. Perfect opportunity for a quiet movie night and an at home manicure!!
I love this movie - everything from the setting to the fashions are just gorgeous!
I know you're a busy gal, but I couldn't resist tagging you- you are my current fave!xoxohttp://wellladida.blogspot.com/
