{To Catch A Thief}

Love this classic movie! The car, her driving gloves, the picnic basket...Cary Grant...just perfect. Grace Kelly is surely the inspiration for Betty Draper's style (of Mad Men)!

So true. Everything about this movie is iconic. And, great thought about Bets Draper. I had not thought of that but I agree.

I definitely agree with your comparison of Grace Kelly with Betty Draper.

One of my favorite films of all time!

I think you're right about Betty Draper. She also has a little bit of a modern twist in her facial expressions that reminds me of Molly Ringwald (especially when she rolls her eyes). Am I crazy?

I love this movie! Grace Kelly was so beautiful and elegant. "High Society" is also wonderful and so much fun with Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra!

I was just going to say what Kathy said: GK is absolutely adorable in "High Society" as well! A true American princess.

Grace Kelly is one classic beauty. I love old movies. Do you ever watch the Turner Classic Movie channel? I watch that and TV Land a lot. I think I'm the only person under 70 who still watches Poirot and Murder, She Wrote, LOL!

This is amazing Miss Petunia, would you believe we never once made this connection...?! How many ways can we say "Dopey Princess"?!?

And this is a fave too, Cary Grant is simply TDF. Dreamy, as they used to say. Sigh.

Love these old flicks. Got a ton of them on my shelf. Love watching anything with Rock Hudson and Grace Kelly. In fact, I just dusted off Rear Window and watched it yesterday.

BTW.. Isn't Mad Men great?
