i *heart* Jake Ryan!

Sixteen Candles finally arrived in the mail, so we watched it on this rainy afternoon. We fully enjoyed! Lil Petunia and I then made our own little video of the best 3 minutes from the entire movie, with Lil P making a cameo at the end!

You are my cyber BFF! I looove Jake Ryan and spent many a night in HS longing for him while I watched this movie over and over. I had that entire scene when he calls the hous and the grandma answers the phone from bed memorized. Lil P is too precious

"Sixteen Candles" is seriously the Best. Movie. Ever. I swear I go faint watching the Jake Ryan shows up in the Porsche at the church scene.

By the way, the new haircut looks great!

I remember feeling that same way about my husband way back when (although his car was U-G-L-Y). It's still nice to see him, though, twenty-some years later!

I read somewhere that "Jake Ryan" is now a carpenter in Pennsylvania.

I'm with Mrs. D. I loved Long Duck Dong.

I also loved the scene where the sister is getting married and OD's on cramp medication.

What a great flick.
