stinky-poo word verification

Please join in the campaign to end word verification on the blog comment pages!
Oh, how I hate word verification!  Half of the time I can't read the letters I am supposed to type,  and I have to do it over and over.  Half of this time I just give up.  Arrrgh.  I want to comment, but don't want to spend all day trying to decipher crazily written smushed together letters!  I have never had a spam comment.  Even if you would get a spam comment, all you would have to do is hit the delete button!
Personally, I regard the removal of word verification as a basic courtesy to my readers who are kind enough to comment.   It's very easy to just go to your comment settings page and disable this annoying feature.

Oh, yeah....and by the way....it is a royal pain in my patootie to try to enter word verification when I am reading your blogs on my iPhone!  LOL!!     ;-)

I wholeheartedly support this cause!!! I have this very button on the sidebar of my blog. I had the captcha thing for a while, b/c it was suggested, but it sucks!! It's a pain to use when I am on other blogs. I hate them. And do you know what? I have NEVER had any spam comments.

I forgot to add that I removed the word verification b/c it sucked. And since, I have NEVER had any spam. The whole automated robots thing is overblown. Never seen any around my blog.

I don't think I have them do I? I hate them as well...Jewish Holidays next week- it is the follow up to Sukkot this week but I don't know the name of the holiday- my boss is Orthodox- so we had Tue and Wed for a holiday as we do again this coming week and that ends the Jewish holidays until Hannukah.

I have received A LOT of spam on my comments (it depends on your topics). The final straw was a virus I got from one of the spam comments that didn't look like a spam. I had to take my laptop in to repair it. However, I've been thinking of taking it off because it is such an inconvenience. I think I'll try it and see what happens. Be careful though, they're sneaky.

Never got annoyed with them until today when I was catching up on a blog and had to keep doing word verification. But just because you asked so nicely...I just removed mine. :)
