{J Crew SUMMER jewelry release!}

Okay...."Summer"...that sounds better now!  Evidently these are in the new J Crew Summer catalog (not Fall).
When I saw them in the display case, I thought it was ONE necklace.  And I loved it.  Haha.
Here they are separated--
The tiered crystal libretto necklace:
The crystal symphony necklace:

I tried to photograph how stunning this necklace is IRL, but the camera would not quite cooperate.  It is mesmerizing:

I have no idea where I will be wearing these beauties, but I guess I'll be very sparkly wherever I go!  And it is always nice to feel like a princess, no??   ;-)

I love that J. Crew uses fine materials like Crystal instead of the traditional cubic zirconia or other nonsense for their sparkle, it adds some shine without the cheapness (not that I have anything against CZ, but in that amount, you need something more substantial).

They are beautiful! And I have found that nothing makes a boring day of errands better than beautiful jewelry!

Did you buy all three?????

Lovely necklace. They do use multiples in a lot of their pics, don't they? I have seen examples of this several times! I love the necklace!

I bought the Scattered glass necklace a few weeks ago, and I really adore it.... have worn it several times already. It goes with just about anything, because of the colors of the beads. :-)

I heart those necklaces! So pretty. I must take a look at my B&M and see if they have them in stock.

So glad you posted this! I was really hoping one our JCAs would purchase and post these lovelies today. I saw those same two (clear libretto & symphony) last night in the display case and they layered them the exact same way. I plan to get the libretto for sure but they have two colors and also the identical 'Garden' one with olive/clear crystals and I can't decide which ones to get. Two librettos (blossom & olive), or one libretto (clear) with the symphony necklace...hmmm. I also have the scattered glass necklace in my online cart but want to see this IRL first.

BTW - Are the necklaces heavy at all? I didn't get the chance to try it on at the b&m yet.

Too many pretty baubles there now!! Love them. Thanks for posting? Like JNJ asked, can you tell us how heavy they are? thanks!

They have a little weight to them, but I don't think people will be complaining that they are too heavy. They definitely feel substantial, but in a good way! I pulled out my little eBay scale & the Libretto is 5 oz and the Symphony is 3 oz if you'd like to compare to a piece you already own. :)

You are too sweet to weigh it for us! (I felt like my crystal snowball necklace was a bit heavy). Thank you for doing that and for all the great pics you shared with us. I'm sure these lovelies will work beautifully with the rest of your wardrobe. I think this will glam up a simple dress beautifully, convert a work pantsuit into insta-chic dinner attire or look luxe peaking out from under a blouse.

Very cool, I love that you can separate them!

Thanks for the weight info - very helpful!!

Petunia - I just bought the libretto and it is gorgeous IRL! Even my fiance said so. :) And you're right it feels substantial in a good way. I only wish they designed it so that it was fully reversible rather than one-sided. May still have to order the olive or blossom version soon.

JNJ ~~ Isn't it just stunning? I did not think that I would like it so much until I tried it on. I cannot get the camera to capture how pretty it really is. I'd love to see it in the Blossom color!

Oh P, gorgeous!!!! To answer your question about the turq purse, it is by Big Buddha and I believe called "Mediterranean." It was a birthday present from Ale's mom, so only a few months old. You should be able to find it! I looove it (and can even carry my laptop in it!). Xoxo-BLC

PS: And, it comes in many fabulous colors!! :)

That's a fantastic necklace. I love how you can mismatch them or have one big chunky necklace. I want one!!! I love how something so simple can truly dress up any outfit. Great find, Petunia.

They look so good! Together and separate. I think you can wear these for a long time. I didn't realize there were other colors in the libretto. Must investigate.
