{baking cookies}

{the posed photo}

We bake cookies A LOT over here in the Petunia household. There's nothing like a couple of warm cookies and a glass of cold milk after dinner! I even place Lil P's cup of milk in the freezer while the cookies are baking so it gets icy and a teensy bit frozen--she loves this. Tonight it will be Oatmeal Chocolate Chip (my personal favorite).
I wanted to capture the moment and had to go to the other room to get my camera, so I told Lil Petunia "Don't eat the dough while I'm gone!" Guess what she was doing when I returned...

Hey a girls got to eat her cookie dough. I always save a bit back make tiny balls to freeze & then add to ice cream for homemade cookie dough ice cream. Its so much tastier than the premade stuff!!
She is such a cutie!! I love her sneeky look!!!

Cookie baking is so much fun, I worry my Baby Girl will not want to bake with me when she gets older - hopefully she'll be like Lil P. and love it just as much later in life as she does now! She is so adorable!

I only wish that I could stop at "a couple" with freshly-baked cookies!

I love cookie dough. My mom will still save some for me when I visit! I'll find a little cup of dough covered with plastic wrap, tucked in the fridge.

Mmm.. yum.. yum.. My grands are freaked out every time they see a cold drink fetched to my son ( he loooves frosty cold drinks too). It's a cultural taboo (sort of), you'll see many europeans ( russians in particular) requesting a drink with no ice at the restaraunts ( for kids especially).

It was thought that cold drink will make your throat sore and one of my dear friends believes it to be so true regardelss of the evidence. She swears she and her kid get sore throat every tme they drink cold milk or juice with ice.

Oh, well! Can't imagine the fun of the tepid lemonade on a hot hot summer day!:)

We share the same favorite cookie! I would have been eating the dough too. However, I would not have looked near as neat since it would have been all over my hands and not on a nice spoon like Little P!
