{spring fever}

Thank goodness for Spring!  This is my favorite time of year for many reasons--one of which is that I am finally able to go shopping and find items that are appropriate to wear down here in Florida.  The Fall and Winter collections are pretty useless to me because I need very few turtlenecks and corduroys when the temperature rarely reaches below 70 degrees.  Anywho, I have been having a fun time perusing the latest collections.
J Crew has these bib necklaces that are so pretty!  But, again, they are waaaay too huge and look ridiculous on my frame, so I have been trying to find something similar but smaller.

J Crew (this one looked crazy huge on me at the store--even the SA said "Um, no.")
J Crew (again -- huge)

I found this pretty one at Anthropologie & thought it would look pretty with my Rosette tee in Shell--the beads are the same peachy color as the rosettes.

Unfortunately when I put it on it just seems to disappear into my skin.  Boo-hoo.  I think this one is going back.  Drats--and it was only $38 compared with J Crew's $150.

It's a pretty color, just maybe a shade brighter to contrast w/your skin tone.

I feel the same way about the bib necklaces. I LOVE LOVE the look of them, but necklaces just aren't my thing. I have the yurman petit albion blue topaz necklace that I never wear, so I know I would probably never wear the bib necklace although it's tempting :)

I know the post is about the necklace, but I just have to compliment your cute figure! :)

I picked up that same necklace in Anthropologie and thought about it for a long while... I bought the long plucked fruit instead (I know... very different look, but similar shade beads and that way they were against my clothes) I still love this necklace... wish it came in another colorway... still may have to get it. Ack the decisions ;)

OMG - I love the Anthropologie necklace! I think it looks cute on you. Maybe it would be more of a contrast if it's worn with a navy or (maybe even) green top/sweater. Have fun with spring!

Yes, the bib necklaces at J. Crew would be a shirt on you ;-) cause you are so tiny. Have you checked Banana Republic? I used to find some great jewelry finds there! And crazy as it sounds - Target sometimes will have a random piece of jewelry that looks like it came from Anthro or J. Crew! Have a great day!! xoxo

I think it's subtle and pretty... YOU stand out not the necklace. You are so gosh darn pretty!

I know how you feel about the weather! I live in SW FL and I hate seeing coats and sweaters in stores. I like the Anthro necklace. It might look cute on top of a fitted white crew neck t. Pair it with J.Crew slim city capris and cute shoes.

So funny! I too saw that necklace and Anthropologie and wanted to buy it. Seeing it on you has motivated me to go get it!

You do have a great figure! I'm jealous.

Ohh, I think it looks lovely. I love all the fun necklaces I've been seeing lately, so much fun. I'm so boring as I tend to wear my pearls too much... I know, is there such a thing! ;-) I need to do a little shopping of my own!

I really like the necklace! The Rosette tee looks beautiful on you, too. :)
