Ugh! This is what my family room looks like right now. We had the crown moulding installation scheduled for yesterday and he did a beautiful job. What I wasn't told is that the
crown moulding painter is a different person and
he cannot come until next Thursday. So, we have to live like this until then. It took hours for us (mostly me!) to empty out the entire room and move out most everything---I'm NOT bringing it all back in again for one week! I wish they would have clued me in on this in the beginning so everyone could have coordinated schedules...
I love the way that the moulding makes the wall color appear a little more, well,
there. There will be even more of a contrast after the moulding is painted. I wanted the wall paint to be very subtle and calm. The contrasting white moulding keeps it from disappearing.

It will all be worth it when it's done. I love your shelves, by the way. It's taken me three weeks to get Legare's room cleaned out (Lor's is next) but Hank insists that HE is going to paint it HIMSELF! Thanks again for my award...I'm still on cloud nine!
So annoying but it will look so pretty when it is finished!Becs
Very fabulous! It will look GREAT!
It looks wonderful. I know how you feel about waiting. My husband has decided that he can do a few of the projects around our home rather than paying someone else. The problem ~ a small job takes him a week because his day job gets in the way! Ugh!
